🔗 Share this article The Top Shared Screen Title You've Probably Not Tried Is Coming to Switch The Wizard of Legend Sequel, a procedurally-generated adventure featuring wizards attempting to become legends, makes its debut to Nintendo Switch later this month. It'll be playable November 25, giving devotees of couch co-op titles another opportunity to check out one of this year's strongest releases in its class. A Challenging Launch Wizard of Legend 2 took the roadmap of numerous lesser-known releases. The development team released it in pre-release in the fall of 2024 on Windows PC, prior to releasing it completely, alongside PlayStation 5 and Xbox editions, in the summer of 2025. When it debuted, it got absolutely slammed. Only less than a third of its audience ratings are complimentary. The Steam reviews were "divided", based on close to two thousand reviews, with numerous users pointing out the overall roughness and abundance of technical issues upon release. Those on consoles also lambasted that the cooperative mode, a major attraction for the game, was largely non-functional. Ongoing Enhancements Yet like many pre-release games that launch in imperfect forms, Wizard of Legend II has been shaping up. Over the past few months, the development team have rolled out several fixes designed to fix these issues. Since experiencing Wizard of Legend II to a greater extent than any latest game recently, it's safe to state it performs better relative to at launch (on console, anyway). It has reached the point where most of the time, one can successfully start a multiplayer game to operate. Quite an improvement! Once It Works, It Works Furthermore when The Wizard of Legend Sequel works, it works. Using an isometric view, you fight through element-based levels by using magic in Hades-like gameplay. Plenty of dashing, lots of avoiding, lots of managing cooldowns. It's incredibly rapid and endlessly creative; through blending your abilities with a friend's, you can devise highly effective pairings. Switch Version Information While the Switch version hasn't been comprehensively reviewed, it's worth noting the notoriously rigorous approval process for Nintendo titles. Its creators mentioned via an announcement that the Nintendo release of The Wizard of Legend Sequel includes all updates that were implemented in the current year.
